RO: "I can offer my perspective, which is that of Gen Z, Gen X, - I'm not sure now- from the 2000s, which comes with a strong baggage of sadness and so many other things that you don't know where to put. Because that's just how it is, we've grown up with so much information, with a great many instruments, but all hybrid, none of them has a real place where it can be applied, even just an inner one. Although we like to think of ourselves as a hyper-advanced, hyper-connected generation, in my view, being hyper-connected is too much of a good thing; it backfires, that is, it highlights a lack. And I really feel this when I think about time, I mean I think that in this we can all hold hands. Especially us from my generation, we grew up without any real idea of what the future held, inheriting a world in the throes of a crisis, which over the course of our lives has only intensified and which we have been able to witness first-hand. This process has been gradual, but also extremely intense and tangible, starting from the economic crisis, from the great economic crisis of 2008. And so, this thing is very strong, it's also something of a watershed, in my view, a historic one. The idea of having no future is a very powerful feeling from both a spiritual and an intangible perspective. In other words, being unable to imagine what comes next, but also a future to which one can leave something behind, really makes you live your life as if it were out of nowhere, in a sea of things that have no roots. Or rather, maybe they do have roots, but they're all eroding a little. I don't want to... how can I say, to paint a picture of utter ruin, as I said I'm a catastrophist and that's true. But I also like to see a challenge in everything, because otherwise we stop here, we'll just be playing into the hands of those in power. And we shouldn't. I believe this is a wonderful challenge, because, you know, it gives us the chance to rewrite even just the concept, to get the sense of time. It may well be the very last straw and that makes us say, okay then, let's go back to feeling the earth, which is still a very strong, immense thing, extremely difficult. Such huge, difficult challenges, cannot be tackled on our own, we need to come together and figure out how."soggetto economia ecofemminismo crisi tristezza generazione Z
